perhaps it is my longest blog-break ever. meanwhile I am falling for france, especially the nature, the cheese and the pastries.
are you still around?
perhaps it is my longest blog-break ever. meanwhile I am falling for france, especially the nature, the cheese and the pastries.
are you still around?
amazing how things are so real when you are close to them, and so distant and almost like an idea when you are far away.
only my third day in france and life is a new reality. with bits and pieces of other realities happening inside. always makes me question what is the essence and where do I truly belong.
after another desert-adventure I am soaking up all the lush, springy green.
I can’t seem to find motivation for blogging. this place is becoming slightly dusty and neglected… how about you?
did a roadtrip to the dead sea and met up with my parents. so happy that they are visiting me.
the desert always brings me such stillness and gratitude.
wish you all a lovely weekend!
two years and a couple of days ago I was present at his birth. it was magical…
amazing how much water has passed under the bridge since then.
dutch delight, people and corners that conquer my heart.
had two very special in real life meetings with these beautiful and inspiring women while being in the netherlands: patrice and anne. (but not photos from the meetings…) so happy that my blog brought me to people I never would have met otherwise…
it’s saturday and I did yoga in the morning, had a sweet talk for lunch and a glass of wine for dessert, then felt the need to dance and so I did….
this beat is so groovy! happy weekend to all of you.
…does these two:my dearest friend ingetje and the magnolia tree behind her house.
saw this movie and fell for this song.
and I am doing my first, hesitant steps over at instagram, you can find me under @sarasoldhersoul
there are some very impressive buildings in rotterdam. like the new central station. it looks to me like it is wrapped in electric tape. and standing next to it makes me feel small in a pleasant way.
when I lived in the netherlands I wasn’t really a fan of dutch fries. nowadays I love them, once in a while at least.
being here is a trip down memory lane and at a quick speed creating new ones.
to familiar places. but even familiar places are discovered in a new light when you leave and return, leave and return.
happy sunday!
thursday, friday and then the first chapter of france is finished. I will continue to the netherlands. what a challenging couple of weeks! it feels like my head is in need of some extra hard drive space… and my body would do with a massage!?
how are you out there?
it took about three hours and felt like a movie, the walk around the local lake.
this morning I slept until 12.40! that’s quite something for someone who’s usually awake around sunrise. it made me feel weird. but also that passed and now it is evening again and a new week lays ahead of us.
it has been a long, short week. so much rapid movement, brain on fire, complicated layers. after all these oats, i am looking forward to a saturday morning croissant.
wish you a beautiful weekend!
