it’s saturday and I did yoga in the morning, had a sweet talk for lunch and a glass of wine for dessert, then felt the need to dance and so I did….
this beat is so groovy! happy weekend to all of you.

…does these two:my dearest friend ingetje and the magnolia tree behind her house.
saw this movie and fell for this song.
and I am doing my first, hesitant steps over at instagram, you can find me under @sarasoldhersoul
there are some very impressive buildings in rotterdam. like the new central station. it looks to me like it is wrapped in electric tape. and standing next to it makes me feel small in a pleasant way.
when I lived in the netherlands I wasn’t really a fan of dutch fries. nowadays I love them, once in a while at least.
being here is a trip down memory lane and at a quick speed creating new ones.
to familiar places. but even familiar places are discovered in a new light when you leave and return, leave and return.
happy sunday!
thursday, friday and then the first chapter of france is finished. I will continue to the netherlands. what a challenging couple of weeks! it feels like my head is in need of some extra hard drive space… and my body would do with a massage!?
how are you out there?
it took about three hours and felt like a movie, the walk around the local lake.
this morning I slept until 12.40! that’s quite something for someone who’s usually awake around sunrise. it made me feel weird. but also that passed and now it is evening again and a new week lays ahead of us.
it has been a long, short week. so much rapid movement, brain on fire, complicated layers. after all these oats, i am looking forward to a saturday morning croissant.
wish you a beautiful weekend!
pastel colors and careful spring in the air. the almonds are blossoming, just like were I came from.
at night I sleep like a corpse with my fingers interlaced, resting on my chest, but I wake up often cause I dream and digest. my body is sore, so much quick movement, trying to compensate with magnesium and french cheese… perhaps the latter will do more wonders for my soul.
I have butterflies of adventure in my stomach, could almost not sleep and beat my alarm to it at 4 this morning.
now watching people and making up life stories at the airport.
~before I left, a visit at my friends pottery studio.
a week before I leave to france. two weeks since I returned from sweden. trying to collect, recharge, prepare myself, and at the same time the wish for just being, spending time with friends, feeling close before going far. no matter how much I need change, I am also constantly confronted with my difficulty to make transitions.
sometimes playing with the camera and being in front of rather than behind it, helps me to notice details about myself that I usually can’t see.
maybe one day I will be wise enough to just be there, without the comparing and without the expecting.
or maybe not. anyhow, in my mind it is always like a living fairytale.
päronen, as we say in swedish…the pears. always happy when I am around them.
I’ve got about 500 photos to upload and edit from my sisters graduation. what a party! and hiphiphurra she’s a doctor now!
