how many stripes

   

do you remember the zebra? (look how many stripes i found in the netherlands)

my brain is trying to solve impossible equations while my heart says ‘fuck the mathematics’. which one of them will be the strongest in the end?

i didn’t sleep until today like planned. and today is a little eternity of time to fill and empty. i will take the camera and go for a walk. perhaps the only right thing to do. (adding to the list of right things to do would be having a beer followed by kisses and hugs. or the other way around)

wake me up but not before monday

    

  if i wouldn’t look so innocent and harmless for the rest, you would probably start thinking i am a real freak posting all these pictures of dead animals. yesterday i felt i could relate to this squashed rat. even though that is probably not a fair statement since i am far from a road-kill after all.

with the risk of sounding even more dramatic, id like this day to end and preferably i would sleep a couple of days before i wake up with my whiskers pointing upwards again. (i guess this is only a swedish expression?)

but even more i would like for this country to come up with some sustainable solution that will bring peace and harmony into this infected area.

it is easy enough to make a lampshade from an old plastic bottle. now i would like to learn how to build a coach from old cartons. imagine how practical it would be if your boxes for moving could be turned into a coach once you unpacked. i would make sure to create an armrest which is a little bit more aesthetic though.

things that pile up

 

stones, seashells, pieces of glass, foreign coins, fabrics, little boxes and letters. i wish i was a little bit lighter but i have the tendency to collect all these treasures. project death-cleansing is never ending.

(i have understood that many people find it somewhat unethical to get rid of letters. i make a dear selection of those to keep, the rest i read again and then let them go. what stays will stay.)

so much fun playing with these two. i would love to give my own kids a camera to play with, if i ever become a parent of course..

queens day

         

for a day, the netherlands turns into a huge flea market/street party. i helped my friend to sell a car full of stuff. queens day is a great reminder of all the unnecessary things we accumulate, and that someone else would be very happy to bring back into life. i earned about 20 euros but spent them quickly on patat, beer and other essentials. listen here, this was our soundtrack for a little magic moment.

p.s i am improving my paparazzi skills. was very proud of catching those happy butt cheeks!

reconnecting

       

hello there! i reconnected with my cable and the leg is still hanging on down there while my head is floating on top and i have missed you guys from the blog-world but it probably wasn’t for nothing that i forgot my cable. just like nothing is for nothing but there is always a reason behind the things that happen.

and i have been in germany and the netherlands and the sun was shining and the trees where lush and green and no matter where you travel you take yourself with you.

thank you all for your sweet comments while i was gone, they always make me very happy!
