everybody could make use of knowing how to cook a middle-eastern kinda omelet, called shakshuka. chop chop chop onion, garlic, spicy pepper, bell peppers, tomatoes. fry it together until it becomes a thick sauce. add salt and such to taste. in the end, crack as many eggs as pleased into the sauce and let them boil until done. eat with or without bread.
in this one below all the ingredients are organic!

lady marmalade and her lucky day
it was my lucky day today, not only did i get my favorite paper and an organic papaya for free, we also managed to get from here to there, only by hitchhiking, and walking some between rocks and olive trees...
now, i am making chocolate mousse. after that i will cook some miso soup, oh how much i've longed for miso soup. and i plucked some bitter oranges from a tree before, that will hopefully become just as good marmalade as a two years ago when we last tried.
T-G-I-F!
i put the alarm, even though it is weekend, cause i am going for a little adventure.
me and a friend are going to hitchhike to the rose village (direct translation, how romantic) and visit their second hand store. after that, we will have a little friday breakfast and then i will buy a few essentials in their organic store.
and then im planning to bake and do house chords, like i enjoy to do...while taking care of rivka, who is a sweet dog with different colored eyes.
cause later, we are having a sweet evening at itzik's. everyone is supposed to make something sweet and bring.
mhm. sounds like a nice day.
what are your plans?

below zero
i could need a boost for my motivation. it is way down there. and i can't seem to pick it up.
any suggestions?
any suggestions?
happy advent
i found some left over lussebullar deep, deep, inside the freezer. they might even be from two winters ago.... anyhow, that made my advent morning a little bit more special.
and except for lussebullar, these are my top favorite dishes with saffron:
1. tagliatelle with zucchini in creamy saffron sauce. this dish was a revolution for me, once i had it in a very cosy, italian restaurant in paris.
2. avocado saffron shake. intense, heavy, but oh so good!
3. risotto milanese
4. homemade saffron icecream. like clouds melting in your mouth.
mhm. im hungry now.
bye

friday morning

baked some scones, with brown flax, ate them in bed.
now, i am back to my addiction. might just read some instead. have a great weekend.
silly
since my neck is still fucked, i am not performing all my parts, hence i have time to take pictures backstage.
putting socks on your ears is fun.
like in one of my favorite movies.
