i wonder

I

COFFEE

two of those in the morning to wake up. at home.
empty cup in istanbul.

coffee break with yuko in sarajevo.

coffee in stockholm, somewhere on 'soder'

if it is cause of the heat or cause i didn't have my morning coffee yet that i have a pounding head ache???
and, since most likely it is cause of the coffee, i start to get just a tiny bit worried...

silly, but worth posting for 'damernas varld' readers...

fru a and frkn l,
not only have i had an exciting weekend for myself,
but you might wanna know that i saw miss portman twice in tel aviv this weekend. had no clue she is born in the holy land. but she does look like a JAP, hihi... *kidding*

recuperation

the premiere and two following performances of 60 Hz is behind my back. such a relief! the opera house of tel aviv was full, and i enjoyed plenty of good food in the big city/especially sushi/but the heat is unbelievable, i kept telling yuko that it seems like a silly joke somehow. or, rather the humidity than the heat. it doesn't matter that you just showered, changed into dry, clean, and minimal, airy clothes, within a few minutes outside, or anywhere without airco for that matter....you start to get sticky. and stickier. and stickier...

so, arriving back in the kibbutz is lovely. 30 degrees up in the mountains is a different story all together. i have been laying in the hammock outside, under the trees, with a coffee and a swedish book, music in my ears. now and then watching the birds fly above me. the sun going down in the horizon. mmmm..... now, i might put on some 'sommarpratare', thank you fru a for reminding me of this phenomena! thank god it is weekend!

and now, perhaps a glass of wine...?

night out

so, after a very busy weekend, including sleeping on the beach (wow, heaven on earth...), a birthday party in jerusalem and many sad thoughts about the situation in this country, i had another little 'night out' experience.
even though i lately prefer to spend as much time as possible at home, to leave the kibbutz after work, for a few hours, is very refreshing.
especially when going to see a movie, SATC, which was...well...entertaining is probably the best word. no impressions that will stay with me very long, that is for sure. and, the episode was still more entertaining, more juicy somehow.
still, i enjoyed, to eat too much popcorn and chocolate in the dark while watching a movie. giggling with my friends...
and now i arrived home and fried myself an egg, with pickled cucumbers (japanese style) . such bachelorette evening.

laylatov!

this is how my hair looks like tonight....

...as a celebration gesture for the new family member, who might come any time now...

a japanese hairstick from yuko, and a capers flower i found along the road. (yes, the same thing we eat. it smells devine)

08.25

im constantly waiting to receive a sms which says i became an aunt (again). not yet....fair enough i guess, who wouldn't wanna stay inside there??
secondly, the new week started, after a pretty good weekend with lazy hours around the pool, and many hours talking on the phone to 'lost' friends around the world.
i hope we will manage this stress before the premiere, without too many tears in the studio, and without broken body parts...

i have no milk for the morning coffee. back to black. like @ ms. browns house, back in the days...

have a lovely day!

this is muriel!

as promised, fru A, here he is! our brazilian sweetheart. he loves: creamy pastas, cats&dogs, long legs, vodka and to play my guitar. (which he doesn't know how to...)
he used to be the dj in our little pub, and on top of that he bakes marvelous cakes!

june tour

the foreigners outside the theater in brno

having cocktails

at the reception in prague. with two lovely men. and miss l like a stewardess.

yuko at the cocktail bar

enjoying the nordic light....

not my intention...

...but i ate the whole bag of crisps. just now. before treatment. and before dinner. with bones licking the crumbles from the floor under me ( i treated him with some dog snacks after that, so that he could enjoy the moment aswell...)

im not hungry anymore. all those goodies in the fridge. organic veggies. hah!

and, perhaps i should find out about some dog blogs. it might fit me.

to be continued

yep, back in town. i will get going with the blogging again. while bones is licking his lolly. but before that, i need to spend a day in the studio, which feels like an oven these days. and in costumes that are not made for those temperatures.
wish you all a lovely day!

roadtrip and bedouin feast

so, we went to visit abu sultan and his wife um sultan, our bedouine 'family'. um sultan wanted to show me the dress she made herself (!) for her sons wedding. and before i knew it, she wanted me to wear it. i felt quite uncomfortable by the whole thing. r didn't even realize it was me when i returned into the living room. then, roadtriping to get back from there, with a lovely sunset.

squatters, again

look who welcomed me at home after the tour...

tea party..

..all alone. with my enamel cup, !red with hearts!, that i found in italy, jasmine tea and candles.

cosy. gezellig. mysigt. naim.

home sweet home

last stop; padova, lovely...such nice place. but i am happy to be back 'home', even just for a few days.
came home to a dirty home, but my garden, oh bliss, and a summer packet from miss pink with among other great things this cd which i am listening to right NOW:

had quite alot of those the last couple of days. (but this one made by els)

and ode to her dinners i m making bean dips, and quinoa salad italian style...

oy, it is good to be back in my own kitchen. the ritual of cooking slowly, preparing my own food is something i fully appreciate after two weeks of dining out. which is also a pleasure, when whoever cooked did it from the heart.
still without camera, so these are old pics, and the two first from the net.

bon appetite!

5

tankte precis gora det dar ' testet' som fru a gjorde i forra inlagget. men sen kom det dar med fem olika jobb man har haft... nae, jag tror jag skippar!

look what the cat brought in???

oh, i more or less missed out on all of what milano is supposed to be like. tried to find a restaurant with a risotto milanese, but so far i only had one in zagreb..(yes, of all places)
but today i saw the huge, impressive cathedral of milano, and i walked abit in downtown, downtown. well, what can i say, amazing architecture, but not my cup of tea. all that louis vitton, consumption to its maximum, i felt like a ragdoll, but in the end of the day, i guess i prefer that to -fashionslave?
anyhow, tomorrow morning we pack our bags and go to padova. it seems more authentic, which suits me. i promised myself an early eve, but here i am, it is a quarter to three, i had italian beers and philosophical talks instead of sleeping.
bonna notte!

progress

before the tour i wrote down a few keywords for what is important while touring. just to keep in mind. somewhat like affirmation.
anyhow, i wrote down : patience, acceptance and keep it small. all of them extremely relevant.
halfway through this tour i realized what needed to be added: fibres!!!
i always wondered what goes wrong with my diet while touring, and thought that it had to do with more carb's, and as a matter of fact NO,
it is the decreased intake of fibres which is screwing up my system.
any suggestion for high fibre intake, easy to find all over the world?
