daydreaming of a house

one day id like to have my own little house. (or a yurt perhaps) a place where i feel i want to stay for a very long time to come.

i tend to fall for worndown and old houses, scruffy will even do to explain them.

old houses have a certain charm to me, a soul that carries secrets and stories. and because they are torn and worn, they seem to offer even more possibilities. for trial and error. and for improvement. well, at least in my imagination.

my house will have a little garden, where i will learn how to grown my own vegetables. and there will hopefully be a few trees, and in those trees you could climb, rest in their shade and pluck their fruits. trees are investments!

a greywater system seems like another important investment...

there might be at least one dog running happily around in the garden.
oh, and id love to have a hammock! there i could snooze under a book sometimes. or lay and watch the stars at night.

inside the house i wish for enough space to host alot of lovely people. a long wooden table for big dinners would be nice.
and a compost toilet.
a kitchen that allows plenty of experiments.

and all those dreams just came popping when i passed this house that is shown on the picture above. maybe i have a need to nestle?

(anyone that feels inspired to share their nestle dreams go ahead, i am all ears!)

Smak Els
