just a short while before it is already february… here a summary of january’s from the past few years. not sure what to say about it. this year,it feels like this month only started. and yes, sometimes you can wear a dress in january. over here. just don’t try it inside the house, where there’s an average of 16 degrees and freezing cold tiles. welcome february, may you be sweet.

wild spinach with garlic and lemon. i keep craving for green vegetables. that is no doubt the healthiest craving i ever had.
spicy peppers. and i am talking about the real spicy kind. i put those in everything i eat, almost.
and now, for a little mexican delight. fry some onions.
chop a bell pepper and a few tomatoes, chop chop, add them to the onions with some optional spicy chili peppers. fry fry.
and then, unless you have some old, dry tortillas at home, add a bag of natural nacho chips. fry fry fry. pour half a glass of water inside the pan, put a lid on and let it cook for a bit. make sure to stir it once in a while until the nachos has turned slightly soggy and at the same time colored and crunchy. et voila, you have a very tasty and easy version of chilaquiles!
now i am going to watch this movie and practice my swedish, and could someone help me by answering the question what animals dig and live in burrows? except of the wolf and the rabbit, or am i completely off track already? what about the bear? and the wild boar? any information will be appreciated!

i am reading about synesthesia, listening to the street buzz and wondering if three black and white colored cats in a certain composition might be an omen? things are happening.
we are having a free wednesday, thank lord or someone else, cause it seemed like we were milking a dry cow the last couple of days. and me i seem to have lost my wonderful talent of falling a sleep at night. instead i lie there thinking of omens, dry cows and well-composed cats and wake up dizzy and tired. a good reason to be happy today is the rain and thunders outside. i will treat you with a pancake lizard.
p.s do you remember this text? ‘when the light turns green you go, when the light turns red you stop, but what do you do, when the light turns blue, with orange and lavender spots?‘

there were birthdays and parties and dancing until four in the morning, there was cava and raspberry soda, balloons and pancakes, there was spring in the air and open windows, there were many long walks, even getting lost, and lots of laughter with swedish julia. there was a lot of missing, a few tears, but plenty of enjoying too, there were the guys working at the garage, as if waiting to get pictured, there were empty streets, too little sleep and two very sweet days. how were yours?

today is the celebration of trees over here, what a genius thing to celebrate! trees are investments. it can’t be mentioned too often. last year i helped with planting a few trees on the westbank and one little cherry tree at my sisters.
but if you can’t plant one, hug one!

just around the corner from me i found this little barber-shop where it seems like time is somewhat standing still. i am always charmed by those places, full of ambiance and history. i was waiting outside with my nose pressed against the window for a while before i dared to enter with my camera. i am still practicing! how about you, what are you practicing these days?

killing time in the studio. usually, there is no time to be killed during our working days. we hardly have time to take a pee… but then sometimes, for some obscure reason, it happens and we find ways to amuse ourselves. like this thursday, dalia was teaching dani how to tango and i was playing with my camera. anyone out there who knows how to tango? or who knows how to dance salsa? i would be happy to learn both. kisses to all of you!
