the romantic life of a construction worker

_MG_0128  _MG_0191

layers of clothes, rubber boots, ear protection and a rain coat. *rain is back. again.* concrete in my hair and pockets full of screws. i have spent the last two days putting tiles in what will become the bathroom. one of the biggest lessons in all of this must be not to let anyone convince you that you can’t do things (that you have never tried before) on your own! because you can.

Wow! Ha en skön helg. Det småregnar lite här också! kramar

Of course you can! Actually you seem to be able to do anything you want!
Yes, I do have a 5 day holidays because of Fallas, I don't mnow if tou've heard of it but it's the big fiestas in Valencia, we make big monuments that criticize the bad things that happened this year and in March 19th we burn them. During the day falleros are dressed with traditional clothes and march on the streets with xarangas (musicians playing festive music). I'm one of those musicians and we spend days playing on the streets, having so much fun and partying for 5 consecutive days all night and day long.
So yes it's a bit of a rest :)

dear you

it looks fine to me
you, the mess, everything

toen ik nog thuis woonde
verbouwde mijn vader ons huis
het hele huis
alleen de wc bleef op dezelfde plaats
en ik hielp hem vaak
je foto's doen me daar
aan terugdenken

evelina, nej, precis. jobbar på det!

ariane, funny, it took me a while to notice. you have a sharp eye! it adds something i think. love and kisses

magdalena, at least i try! and i learn! which is already a lot.

pascale, we go!

monica, wow, what exactly does that mean? what did you put together and how?

nathalie, thank you!♥ i think it is pretty funny...

lamedi, that sounds good. intense and good. and special too. will you take some photographs for us? sounds like an experience worth sharing. love to you

marieke, hihi! ja! ;)

demie, it is not even about doing it perfect, cause that of course is not the case all the time....but about daring and improving! ♥

that´s so true, one can do so much. at least have to try first. but sometimes i just feel so lazy, and try to get somebody else to do it;)
Lately i have also been doing a lot by myself, but nothing like construction worker! that´s a real hard work:)
