the fine art of sleeping outdoors

_MG_7258_MG_7256

I am slowly learning to feel relaxed while sleeping outdoors. no walls protecting. not even a tent. I am a person of fears, and a person of wild imagination and I am terribly afraid of the dark. it ranges between the most unrealistic to the most realistic fears you can imagine. killer pigs or serial killers. while sleeping in the desert I was even afraid of tigers, and add to that that there aren’t many left anymore…

anyhow, so each time I wake up to feel the bliss of nature, the bliss of being alive, I feel a little bit stronger and a little bit more free, having stepped out of my so very comfortable and comforting comfort zone.

(here and here a few more temporary homes)

Modigt!

Oh my gosh, I love that first photo! A rugged guy, a little baby, in the desert under a rose comforter...that is fabulous!

and, I'm still afraid of the creepy thing under my bed that will grab my leg if I dare hang it over the side during the night!!

Definately, less inhibitions and less fears makes for better living.

Kram

Sweet photos too!

:) kramar

so brave of you to face your primal fears. i'm sometimes quite terrified when we go to the forest to the summer house, even though i love the idyll of it. i'm also afraid of animals in the woods and when swimming in the dark waters of the lake, and sometimes even of the old attic and old mirrors... i love the idea of getting back to nature, and feel the need for it but it is scary...
