generation smartphone

_MG_4780_MG_4817_MG_4857_MG_4814_MG_4816

sometimes such an enjoyable toy and tool but I do find myself strangely absent and addicted using it.

what’s your take on the issue?

i share your thoughts, especially since i don't have a smart phone. and i'm not looking forward to having one either, i'm a bit of a dinosaur, probably. n♥

Samma för mig. Älskar att det är så enkelt att fotografera med kameran samtidigt är det aldrig bilder som håller för något annat än just telefonen :) Kram

I don't have a smart phone yet either but I quite want one although I can see the down side to it.
Thank you for your comment on my blog....I hope you have a wonderful visit in Sweden. You will be in some beautiful spots in France. I was not fomilar with Istres so I looked it up. What a lovely place! Not really near me though in the Toulouse area. I am here until September .
Best wishes on your travels!

de jongens vinden mij prehistorisch
omdat ik nog steeds het liefst
met een vulpen schrijf
en van ontmoeten en praten hou
in plaats van via sms of whatsapp

so true. but i think i have the right amount of balance from that addiction. it irritates me when someone cannot get off of her/his gadget all the time.

I don't have a smartphone and am quite happy with that. much easier to stay present and in the moment without the constant temptation to record and share everything :)

i like that i have a camera on my smartphone, although i sometimes wonder if i should really buy me a proper camera - i do enjoy taking good photos and with the smartphone thingy the frustrating bit is that lots of times they don't come out great. last time i had a proper camera was when i was a kid. i really liked this string of photos about people taking photos! hugs x

nadine, i was too, and then i got an old broken one of a friend. i enjoy it, but also not. very dual! i love dinosaurs! after all...

annika, nej precis. och så mycket närvaro den stjäl. kramar

sara, yep, know what you are talking about. feeling dual about it however, with myself..

sally, oh, i would love to visit toulouse. i guess it is quite far from montpellier? otherwise it would be so nice to invite you for our premiere in the end of june. it is also a very nice festival of dance in general. hope you are enjoying france, i am sure you are!

patrice, hahahaa! gek is dat! veel liefs!

niken yes me too! so much! but it really is a presence and time stealer...

petra true that! that's why i was resisiting it and now that i have one i see it really effects me. trying to stay balanced though.

aniko, i recommend you to get a 'proper' one if you enjoy taking photos! :) it gives me so much pleasure...

I never owned a smart phone until 1.5 years ago when many of my friends were using it at least three years ago. I never cared for it until I had it, of course, the rest is history. It is like carrying your computer with you all the time.. :)
