a quickie to babylon

_MG_1714_MG_1743_MG_1728_MG_1712

sometimes I leave the mountain and roll myself down to babylon, just to be reminded of how very different the urban life is.

I used to life in Hamburg which is the 2nd largest city in Germany than standed in Wiesbaden which to me appeared small and lagged. Because my son is born there and I could life in a big city at that time I decided to go to the country side. Now I'm back up north, but still in the country side and when I now go to the "big city" I realize that it irritates me, I feel nearly overwhelmed.
I fear I'm a country girl now.
So cowgirl, enjoyed your post, your thoughts and your pics as always.
Hugs

sally, hey there, nice you are back! :)

annton, thank you dear. exciting beneath the surface is exciting indeed and i know that feeling! hugs to you

sara, and i wish i will visit portugal one day.

bee, i guess we are in the same club then. the club of the country girls. i experience exactly what you mention, being irritated and overwhelmed in a not such a pleasant way. at least some of the times.hugs back!

Thank you for all the wonderful places you take me...places that a girl from the middle of the states probably wouldn't get to otherwise! :)

I've been in the city way toooooo long and can't wait for the day that I can say that I'm going to "visit" it.
