roadtripping

roadtrippingoatiesmountain

a trip to the desert.

and a great list i got from a friend:

Here are the top 10 ways people give away their power:
1. Asking others what they should do.
2. Thinking God decides who gets what.
3. Worrying about how their dream will come true.
4. Thinking they have dues to pay.
5. Attaching to unimportant details and outcomes.
6. Believing in soul mates.
7. Thinking karma or spiritual contracts are absolute.
8. Fear of anything, especially falling in love.
9. Waiting for their ducks to line up before acting.
10. Choosing to be unhappy.

tja....
dat lijstje is heel herkenbaar
helaas
er zijn dagen dat het zo gaat
dan voel ik mijn kracht wegvloeien
maar gelukkig
zijn er ook andere dagen
dan ben ik nergens bang voor
en lach, lach!

Thanks for your visit ! I completly agree with the list, especially for the first point : as I'm not a very self-confident person at the beginning, but after asking others what they think for years, I decide to stop, and amazingly lots of things became clear so quickly! It was really a way to loose my energy and my "power".
I'll look more to the others points!

querida sara: once again i have no words to describe what your photos transmit! i had the chance to go once to the sahara dessert, close to the border between morocco and algeria. it was such an amazing experience to me. there is something magic. where is this desert??
and the list made me think, i found the title very inspiring, i never thought of it such as "losing the power" and i really like the concept!
besoos!!!

Shocking editing on my part(!) ... it's early and only one cup of coffee is my excuse! Let's try that again:

For so long has it been this way... Even the sky appears to embrace the the same brown tones of the land...

monica, the desert always brings a certain calm and quiet to me. but i wonder if i could live there?

la dolce vita, they will. it is a challenge not to let them do so.

nathalie, thank you! me too was extremely excited about this list...

elle, congratulations! happy to read, that sounds good.

aniko, maybe you could? print it and hang it somewhere you look at it often! welcome!

martita guapa, this desert is in the negev, in the south of israel. very beautiful place. but not such a huge desert after all... i also liked this concept and thought of it differently earlier. but it is really that, giving your powers away! besos

geoffrey, hihih, that is pretty funny, the firs version! :)

b, love you too! two snaps and a circle...

a.beate me too! lets keep it close to our hearts! :)
