3 people, 2 cameras and a little bit about transportation

DSC06975DSC06974DSC06976

we are soon starting to tour again. usually it is almost like being in a summer camp with a bunch of naughty kids; lots of fun and giggles in other words. the third person and second camera in this story stays invisible.

the biggest downside to touring must be all the flying. the one thing i really need and would like to change (from an environmental perspective) is this copious amount of flying. which brings me back to the idea of a portable home, a camper/minibus/van (which i have nagged about a few times already...)

and you know what, i had an in-official driving lesson the other day. it went pretty well until i drove the car into the barbed wire fence surrounding the kibbutz and the car had to pulled out by a truck. but just like when you fall of a horse i was right back behind the wheel again to avoid any traumatic memories. it made me wonder if i have the right skills for driving though, perhaps i should stick to biking?!

hihi, i don´t tour as often as you do, but i recognize the feeling;)

about the driving, i got my driving license about 9 years ago. but as i never have had a car, i actually never drive. i prefer biking too. but if i would have a klein bus one day, that would maybe make a difference..

have a good tour Sara!

Kör på! Och det låter skönt med en liten husbil eller vad man ska kalla det? Kommer ni till Sverige? I så fall SKA jag se er. Kramar

Yesterday I made my driving theoric test, and if I pass it, I'll be on your same situation.
My father has taught me how to do some simple things that I can't still manage to do, and the easiest thing for everyone -controling the wheel- is an impossible assignment for me! I can't go straight hahaha

Don't worry, I think we can all drive when we practise. It's like dancing, or music, but just much more empty of beauty!

:) kram

outi, yes, for the kleinbus it would be worth it, right?! one day, one day...

annika, ingen turné till sverige så vitt jag vet, än så länge. det är lite synd. men vem vet, en vacker dag, jag kommer hålla dig underrättad! :) kram

lamedi, i like how you describe it, that it is just like learning anything else, simply it lacks a certain beauty. (even though when i think of roadtrips and campers it has its charm!) good luck with yours then!

demie, did you get your license in greece? i guess it is pretty crazy to drive there. just like here. if you survive that, you will be strong driver! phu! me too, so excited about it, hopefully i will have time to get lost with my camera!

iris, hahahah! grappig! en leuk. ja, zeker is het zo, practice makes perfect toch?
