my view is slightly cluttered. spring is officially here. i am welcoming and embracing new challenges.

there are posters hanging in tel aviv/yaffa with the sentence: ‘are you an urban creature?’ and each time i see them i feel like heidi from the mountains. no, i am not an urban creature, but if you let me walk the streets i like to walk in the pace i like to pace, finding urban treasures and getting lost with the people i care for you will see a pretty much happy mountain girl. enjoy your weekend folks, enjoy the last days of april.
greetings from a busy bee in a busy week. trying to remember to see the details while rushing slowly, if possible.
i loved to watch this woman from behind. her dreaming gaze, her bare feet, the scarf in her hair. taking a break at the seaside.
i am also taking a break today. (hoping no one is capturing that from behind…)staying in my pj’s all day long. drinking fruit shakes while thinking about this and that. i say that’s legitimate when you are having a busy week ahead of you. hugs to you all, wonderful people.
all i see is spring. sorry for the overdose of trees, leaves, blossom and strange questions. i forget to photograph all the people i met the past few days, and they happen to be many. so many that i stopped counting. pretty amazing how extremely different life-stories there are in the world. and how their paths sometimes end up crossing yours. now, all that’s left to do is to leave this saturday behind and wake up when it’s sunday. sleep tight! ♥
eating the first ice cream of the season (yoghurt and passion fruit), disturbing someone’s cigarette break, talking to plants, finding patterns here and there, walking in the forest, feeling my muscles, writing rhymes while dreaming, thinking about far away friends, writing and sending letters, drowning in the fresh bloom of lilacs and having a similar loop of questions like then (add a few new ones, subtract a few old ones, mix and stir). that’s where i am, halfway through april, how about you?
one of those days when your gut feeling is telling you something is about to happen.
it took me a cup of coffee to notice a cherry tree blossoming above me
dear mr. potato, no matter if you are boiled or mashed, grilled or chopped, cold or warm, crisped or baked, small or big: i still love you.
happy easter! and all that jazz..
(still feeling far from being a christian, each time a holiday pops up i long slightly extra for europe)
yesterday my friend gave birth to their son and i was lucky to be present. it was probably one of the most amazing gifts i have ever received, to be part of such strong and extremely intimate experience. it made me feel and think a lot...still overwhelmed i am digesting the experience.
another premiere was making my first quilt for the baby. no perfection but made with lots of love.
cheers to that: new experiences, new life, new chapters. ♥
