i thought about the story behind the story and of the buddhist term ‘dependent arising’ and a few other interesting, mind triggering things. contemplated for a moment if to get all into it here, and then decided that i do not need to blabber away right now. so i won’t.

I got a pair of muddy little hands on my back on a communal working day. my lens needs a little bit of cleaning. and my system needs a complete reboot. a good nine hours of sleep might do the job. this night I woke up at three listening to the rainy storm outside the window, and at four thirty to catch the first northbound train. there are interesting people awake at those hours.

local kids queuing for the homemade water slide on a hot summerday.
it is calmer today. who knows for how long, and whether there is a sustainable solution in reach? but still, right here and right now, calmer.
sweet magdalena posted this inspiring video on her blog. check it out. made me want to read something by alan watts.
counting raindrops and sorting through the attic of my mind, I am wishing you a wonderful, tranquil, peaceful friday!

…poland seems so far away. (I saw another pair of old women linking arms, which made me happy) perhaps because it has been such an intense week, and I doubt it will get much calmer any time soon.
I am not going to talk about politics. feels hopeless, sad and terrible, this situation.

there’s nothing wrong with drinking beer and eating a bag of crisps for dinner, alone in room 910, in a polish hotel. felt like the most right thing to do. the penguins were my companions.
a friend of mine cut my hair before going back to israel, I felt the need to frame myself again, hence back to bangs. have a wonderful week!

all the polish people tell me that it is such a shame that the festival takes place in november, because the sun never shines then. so i assume i was not the only one feeling excited this morning waking up to a pale ray of sunlight sneaking inside through the window. poland is not serving itself on a silver platter, but it demands a pinch of curiosity and a spoonful of patience, and if both of previously mentioned are present, you can’t go very wrong but will find a very warm and charming place. and i can say that even without a tasty shot of vodka. (can you find my hidden bottle?)

hello thursday? I am lost in translation in poland,I have lost my sense of direction, of time and space, it could have been a month ago since I arrived, or just a couple of days, I am not sure and in the end of the day it doesn’t really matter.
I have the feeling I might stay living in my suitcase again for a while, but that might also simply be a whim of this moment.
p.s look at this very sweet mimmi mouse enjoying a bowl of soup.
